You need to either temp probe them or make a small cut in the thickest area, In future seal on both sides then finish off in the oven as this gives all over cooking....

Well when they look done on the outside, or when you think they are looking good. Cut inside the porkchop and if it is red still keep cooking it, but if it is all white and hot, take those mofos out of there.

This simple thing to do is cut in and make sure there is no pike,,,,but doing this will let out the juices and can dry the meat out if you have to cook longer.

Keep an eye on the juices and when they run clear then you are ok....the safest thing to do is use a meat thermometer....165 degrees at the thickest part.

Are they thick? Thin? Did you pound them or cut off the bone? Pork doesn't take a long time to cook, but I agree -- make sure there's no pink inside.

I have to go with nicole on this one but I would think a slow fry would hold a lot of oil in the pork chops.

the best way is to temp them. they need to be 165F in the thickest part for 15 seconds. You can eat pork that has a slight blush of pink, not a raw area but a pink sheen. trichinosis has been pretty much eliminated in modern pork.

the coating should be golden and then make sure you turn them like 10 minutes into it. 20 minutes it should be done.
