You can lose about five pounds by drinking a lot of water. When your body knows its going to get fluids, it doesn't store as much, so no water-weight gain.

If you eat three to six tiny meals a day the same thing happens: your body knows that it's going to be fed and it doesn't store extra for the times it gets no fuel.

I know this sounds like the way to gain weight, not lose it, but it works and it's safe and healthy.

ALSO exercise at least 20 minutes every day and, if you eat them, cut out all sweets like candy, soda, and baked goodies.

This really works. You don't have to spend money on expensive diet drinks and powders that don't work. You don't have to starve yourself and feel sick and cranky. Too much weight loss too quickly can make you very sick!

On water alone, you should lose at least five pounds.

Good luck!

I weighed in at 280 pounds about two years ago. Now i weigh just shy of a hundred pounds less. In the first week, i lost almost twenty pounds.

How?

Drink water. Drink lots of it. I was told to drink 128 ounces a day (twice what you NEED to drink for health). For the first few days, it will make you feel sick to the stomach, but after a couple days you will get used to it. This really cleanses your system and allows your body to accept less of the bad stuff you consume and what you do consume is washed out easier.

Eat often, but don't eat much. Every chance you get (once every couple hours, eat something. An apple, some granola, a low fat yogurt. things of the like.

DO NOT drink soda.

DO NOT eat anything that has any hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil (of any type).

DO NOT eat or drink anything with high fructose corn syrup.

This diet worked for me and it worked quickly. Make sure to eat plenty of protein and simple carbs.

**Eat very little and exercise like crazy.**
**You can also try these simple diet tips:**

DONT LISTEN TO THEIR ADVICE!

Dont EVER eat very little. People think carbs, fats, and Calories are bad for you... THEY ARE ACTUALLY AN EXTREME KEY TO YOUR WEIGHT LOSS. The secret is is to do endurence fitness (cardio) and to do a little bit of free weights also.

See Carbs Calories and Fats are a key essental to energy. Without them you will be come very tired and lazy and have extreme hunger cravings.

Your muscles feed on Carbs Calories and Fats, without them your muscles will shrink and excess water will be released. this actually makes you GAIN WEIGHT. (This is "water-weight")

SO what you need to do is insted of having 3 big meals a day, have 6 small meals throughout the day. This will keep your energy up without gaining alot of weight from the food.

Don't stop eating also, it can stunt your growth and make you unhealthy.
I don't think the girl understands what weterweight is.

I agree.. rapid weight loss isnt good for you. Try to exercise daily, eat more fruits and veggies, eat more white meat then red meats, and try to drink 1 gallon of water a day. I lost 65 lbs in 3 months just giving up pop! But when I started drinking pop again...i gained most of it back.
Good luck for success! Permanent weight loss requires life style changes.

Start smoking and washing down diet pills with Red Bull. OK, that will work, but it's not very healthy. Try this:
-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water.
-Spread your eating out over 5-6 meals in a day.
-Do 30 minutes of cardio before breakfast every morning.
-Work out with weights every other day.
-Drink green tea and take a multi-vitamin every day.
