I'm looking at a 98 Lexus GS300 which is on the above link. The dealer says it had "slight frame repair" but there is no record of accident or salvage title on CARFAX. Would it be possible to somehow sell a car with a clean title that would normally have a salvage or rebuilt title? Is this a red flag or is it okay to buy cars with frame repair? I was thinking of taking it into to a mechanic who specializes in alignment and frame repair.

Only if you take it to an independent shop and have them verify the repair on their laser alignment table. You're asking for some level of trouble, but if the price is good - I'd do it.

"Slight frame repair"? If the dealer tells you things like this means it was a lot worse...For sure it's a red flag, not just because of the alignment problem, think about future problems with A/C, electrical, wheel bearings, drive shafts, etc. Just find better car.

It means a red flag to me, I wouldn't buy that car. Frame damage is never "little". Once the frame is bent it can't be put back properly.
