Go one block past where you want to turn left and make 3 right turns in a row. You just made a Pittsburgh left!

it's a regional term amigo---- 3 right turns equal 1 left if all the turns are 90 degrees. equal a square/rectangle....but i have heard this also called a military left as well as a texas left. this is easy to accomplish in downtown scenarios with one way travel on streets.
unless you are one of those drivers who will stop in traffic and hold up 300 people till you can turn left from the right lane rather than pass it up and try to do it right the second time

Turning left in front of oncoming traffic at a stop light just as it turns green. Although illegal, it allows for the car turning left to proceed rather than waiting for a full line of oncoming traffic to move through the intersection while the light is green.
