'yes it is must be in English read the terms and conditions' However! - there are people typing answers to a question in german translation and i dont see them getting violated!

I don't see why, as I have answered English questions on French Yahoo Answers and nothing happened. The messages are still there now. And people keep posting Spanish questions on the French site.
Maybe it was a mistake.
I don't see why we have to speak in English here, what's the problem with French texts?
Je ne comprends pas, c'est vraiment n'importe quoi!

Some people just love to tattle and report others for no reason. I don't see a violation in that question.
If anything, they need to leave that stuff alone and come over to the immigration forum and start monitoring some of the racist garbage that gets posted there.
Don't worry about it, though. You can get lots of those kinds of violations and you won't get kicked off or anything.

I think that their rules are ridiculous. I got violated for the rudeness of telling someone they couldn't type! It seemed to me that they had transposed letters in asking a word in a foreign tounge. I have also been violated a number of times for the use of foreign languages in requestion informantion about them or things concerning my interest in language. It is ridiculous.

There is a long list of violations under Yahoo Answers, someone probably reported you, or big brother was watching.

Probably just some freak who is prejudiced against French people. Ignore it. You know there was nothing wrong with what you sent.

No, but the Yahoo censorship office have to do something to show their bosses they are working, otherwise they may be made redundant.
