God always answers our prayers, sometimes we are just not open to hear/see His Word/Blessings! We ask for something specific and then awaits it narrow-mindedly! That is where we go wrong. That is why we get disappointed!!
If you look at my profile, you will see one of my mottoes saying: We should look around us and see the things we normally don't notice. That is when you see God's answers!!
I once asked God a question. I asked Him whether, in relation to tithing, shouldn't we also give one tenth of our day to Him? I was driving at that moment and as soon as I looked at the clock on the dashboard, the time was exactly 2:40. Two hours and forty minutes is exactly a tenth of 24 hours!! This is just one example in my life.
My point is, we should open ourselves spiritually so that we would see God's special miracles in our lives. That is part of an amazing relationship with our Creator and Savior, through the Holy Spirit. That is when the Blessings rain down. Believe me, you will even see something like the time on your dashboard clock as a Blessing!!

Ok, very broad prayer question here. First of all, sometimes it's not the prayer, it's the reasoning behind the prayer. Second, some prayers will go unanswered because you are praying for something that isn't intended for you to have, in other words it's not part of God's plan for you. Look at your life now, and then look back, you will evenetually see a pattern that if certain prayers were answered, you would not have some of the wonderful things you have today.

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

Pardon? Again, slow down. You are freaking everyone out! Even the christians. Why do you put Jew4Jesus in all you questions? You have over 400 questions. Jesus was humble. Please take heed. "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship from his spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:..." (Phillipians 2:1-11).
Find a verse that states Jesus claims himself as Lord. There is not one. He was very humble.

I have yet to have a time when a prayer for something I truly needed went unanswered. The wants may have been answered later or with a no but my needs are always taken care of.

So .. he slew 23,000. Lovely. And this because they "went against his will." Seems as if his power is only exceeded by his vanity.
Anyway, since you say he'll do what you ask him, do me a favor and ask him to STOP SLAYING PEOPLE!

I still ask...although sometimes I have to wait a lonnnnnnnnnng time 4 an answer, or the answer is right infront of me and I don't realize it until later. Sometimes we have to be patient with God for answers just like he is paitent with us with and about everything. Lets be honest...sometimes we don't feel like answering his questions, but he is patient with us, like we should be patient with him.

1. Jews4Jesus = Extremely hypocritical. You are Christian, not Jewish
2. You are saying that if I ask Jesus to smash the moon into the earth he'll do it? Somehow I highly doubt that...
