Why not talk to him and pour your heart out to him? Let him know how you feel and if there is anything he could do to make you feel better, I'm sure he'd do it. I love you and always will.

Maybe you should let him know how you really feel about him, and let him know how much you care. Maybe that will open him up, so he can let you know how he fells, in stead of him just telling you he loves you. hope this works, it worked for me.
