he is mexican and i am white and when we went out he didnt speak much english and i didnt speak much spanish so i broke up with him. now he called me and he said he learned more english and he can talk it pretty good. he's a nice guy but when we went out we had sex so i dont know if he will want to now but i dont want to till i get to know him more so i guess im asking should i go out on a date with him or what

Communication is an impt. issue and could be a real barrier between the two of you if you do decide to pursue a relationship with this guy. Are you accustomed to dating outside your own culture? If not, you may be in for a surprise. It may also be an issue if your family and/or friends don't accept him or if his family and/or friends don't accept you. You two are facing some big challenges--you sure you want that kind of struggle? Also...when you have sex with a stranger he remains a stranger. What were you thinking? My advice is to run the other way as fast as you can....sounds like he'd like to have another 'booty call.' At least give this some time....what's the rush anyway. You deserve good things--good luck.

If you decide to go then you have to lay down the rules. But you must do it in fromt of someone or a crowd. Mexicans are very very determined when the know they have the possibility of getting some. I would not do anything that would include you two being by yourselves until you get to know him better.

you are going to date whoever you want to, regardless of race. your only mistake is that you already slept with the guy. you pretty much have not left anything else to the imagination. since it seems you have been able to communicate thus far, what is it that you want, a relationship or a friend with benefits. express your thoughts to him. if he still does not get, dumped him. it is still early in the game.
