Because he is imaginary! Just like santa!

It's the classic king-in-disguise among the people ploy.

If God were to reveal "him"self directly, everyone would immediately start bowing and scraping, trying to get on God's good side and nothing else would get done. Certainly no one would be listening because they'd all be cowering and trying to figure out how to impress the guy. By appearing as a human being, God's message could be delivered and actually tried out because people couldn't be sure if it was God talking or not. They'd listen. They'd respond honestly. Many would doubt. And maybe some of the message would actually sink in. It was worth a shot.

Man are you confused!!Jesus is Gods son,He came to earth to die
that people, All people(even You)may have a chance at life in an
earthly paradise. As far as God hiding, he is anything but hiding,he
had a book made up for us it was written over about 1,800 yrs.
If tells Exactly what we need to do,Whom to pray to,and who to
pray through,so that we can attain life. And should we die before the
end comes if we are trying to follow Christs example as best we
are able to then we can look forward to a resurrection. Acts.24:15
tells us their will be a resurrection of the RIGHTEOUS as well as
unrighteous. That book is of course the Bible.READ it......

Because the god you think of is fake.

If there really was a supreme force out there, why would it bother unveiling itself to us flithy animals. We are all self centered beings, destroying everythign around us with out a concern for anyone but ourselves, and unappericiative of all the beauties of the inner workings of life and the sheer complexity that everything is created from.

We cant even contain our own pathetic instincts, how could we be worthy to be graced by any such supereme being?

~~ First of all it was The Religious Leaders who convinced the masses that only they had a Direct Link to "God",,, and in order for The Common Man to link up it required the Authority of The Church,,, then you are bound up in Dogma which only reinforces their control. Consider what the Buddhist, or Eastern mind thinks,,, they have not Externalized god as the Westerner has put "god" outside of one's self, thus requiring An Acceptance of God/Jesus within,,,, whereas the Eastern mind knows that god is and has always been within,,, as god is within ALL Things. ~~

God is not in camouflage, as some people think, God is all around, in the sky, the birds, in the trees, his creation all has his finger print on them.
Jesus, is the only true way to know him. God created us in his image, so, he is not hiding, its just knowing where to look to truly find him,
Good Question.

God shows us he is hear with us through mis unlimited love. He sent his only son 2 die for us. As far as why we dont see him, the bible says that if any mortal should even glance upon his image, they would die because they are not worthy. Also, in the beginning, man and God walked together in the garden, but sin seperated us from God.

in some ways, God does hide himself... but mostly, he is always noticable... if you have a bible, check out Job chapters 38-41. im pretty sure they are the right chapters... God reveals his glory to us in these chapters, and its awesome... its awesome to think about treasuries of snow and rain, of him creating all these things...
yeah, God is everywhere, and every day, his presence becomes more evident to me... more evident with every sunrise and sun set, ever child that is born, every prayer that is answered... hes totally present, and hes not hiding.. hes showing off his splendor! he is so awesome and sometimes i just want to smack myself for not realizing the beauty.
when im not in a rush, its nice to stop and sniff the flowers... God created them!
im not saying hes in the trees and nature... no, but we see some of his glory in these. Every child born is a blessing, and every time my prayers are answered so precisely... its so beautiful! God is everywhere... you just have to look<3

He doesnt hide himself. He is everywhere. Everything you look at he is a part of. You just have to look deeply. But he is very much out in the open and he shows us everyday. We just dont always see it because we may not be looking for it.

we are spirits having a physical experience not a physical being seeking a spiritual experience. therefore the humanity of JESUS is necessary to help the physical realize there is a spiritual side which needs to be considered more than at first realized.
