What a strange menu.. anyway I was dating my wife about that time and I reckon on about £20 for the 2 of us in a higher class restaurant, that would include a bottle of wine

I was born in 1973, not really able to help you there i am afraid, though i do know that i could get 20 sweets for 10p around that time! Bargain, you don't get quality for that now!
