He called the jewish people " His people" and Jerusalem "the promised land".
Now, wouldn't this whole thing be more of a story to inspire and give hope to the jewish people...like the Sun for the Mayas....Zeus for the Greeks....

At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him."

From what I have studied-the Jewish people were introduced to a one god concept while they were enslaved in Bagdad and they developed it from there-then Christ came along (a Jew) who never said he was the son of God and well, the rest is history.
Neither God nor Christ nor any other diety has said they prefer one person or group over an other, only us, so called, humans have added that.
Boy! have I opened another can of worms with above statement but it is all truths.

God loves everyone! Years ago He choose the Jews to be His special people to spread the word about Himself. They did not do a very good job of it. In this day and age Christians are His chosen people to spread the word about God and Jesus Christ being the only one who can forgive, cleanse and remove all the sins from anyone who is willing to believe. Christians are not doing a very good job of it either. Some time in the future Jews will once again be chosen to spread the word about God. Then they will do a better job and most of the then world will be brought to Jesus Christ. So says The Holy Bible.

In the age of grace that we are living in today, all people are alike before God. To get into God's favor today we must believe and trust that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. If any reject that then they have their part in the lake of fire. Galatians 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. The Nation of Israel has been blinded and they have fallen. Romans 11: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

This god doesn't exist.

All religion is fabricated for the benift and betterment of a group of people.

Do you think that us ignorant beings could comprehend such a mighty being if there really was one? A being that had the power to create everything. Even if there was such a god/diety/celestial do you think it would show itself to us. We are all selfish, small minded animals. We all are to ignorant to comprehend the word of any such being, let alone try to teach it to others.

Well, it goes further than that. He condemns to eternal fire all those who do not believe in him.
As many people in the world are brought up in countries where Christianity is not the dominant religion, it means that all those people stand a much higher chance of damnation, thanks to a matter of geography.
And indeed, those who are brought up in places that have no knowledge of Christianity (and there are still some left) are automatically doomed.

Not at all. He loves each and everyone of us the same. There were people that all the jews couldnt stand and therefore it was wrong to talk to them. But Jesus woudl talk to them and heal them and help them. He loved them just the same. Jesus and God our holy father will love us all the same for all eternity.

Oy! You want to try a little of being G-d's favorite? Inquisitions, pogroms, and Nazis, just for starters! No, you don't want to attract G-d's attention. (Now you know why we never say the name.)
