Exactly. They are great at drawing up new laws and trying to gain public popularity by having them passed but what good are they if they are not enforced? They need to start enforcing the law.

I am a Canadian and UK citizen and am curretly in the process of legally moving to the US. Aggravating it is knowing millions of people bypassed this process and are permitted to remain there

Our immigration laws may be complicated, but that does not justify ignoring them. We should enforce those laws, and, if the enforcement proves that the laws are unworkable, then you look at changing the law. But until that happens, the laws should stand, and they should be enforced.

Good question I think we need to enforce the ones we have then move on and make more to prohibit this from happening again when this issue starts to dwindle

You know it seems like that ... But if you notice more and more illegal aliens are being sent back home ,,, I think that the problem is so bad that it is overwhelming to enforce .

This country did not have immigration laws at all until fairly recently. So why do we need them so much now?

exactly. these laws are merely token gestures for the coming election .why would they enforce the laws when they have the backing of big businesses?

We need them enforced to protect our schools and hospitals that are being ruined for our own people.

I wish I could answer that!! I have gone to the office of INS. They don't want anything to do about it!! I have call the police where there are over 200, they don't care!!

they dont, there are laws in place right now to stop illegals.........its politicians on both sides who think by making new laws they are making a stand...and its complete BS.
