No. It's the smae as hair color and eye color. You get one gene from each parents. If you get an A from your dad and a B from your mom, then you'd be AB. If you got a blonde hair gene from your dad and a brown hair gene from your mom, you'd have brown hair because the brown hair gene is dominant.

No because there are none of her genes in the egg or sperm that have been used to make the embryo.
The only problem i could imagine would be the Rhesus Negative one. If a pregnant woman is Rhesus Negative and she's carrying a Rhesus Positive child then that can cause problems. But they give you blood tests to check all that early on in pregnancy.

I have often wondered that same thing
they say when a pregnant female smokes a cigarette, the babies heart stops and they can not get any oxygen..each time she takes a drag on it..and the nicotine goes into the babies blood stream..
and the same thing for drinking alcohol and drugs...the babies gets some of it in them too..
so I would think if all of that happens, then anything going on with the surrogates blood..goes on inside the babies body too.

No. The blood type of any child is defined by the genes of its biological parents

Great question but I don't exactly know the answer...my guess is its in the DNA and answer would be NO as its not your egg...you are just the bread baking machine...no ingredients.
