It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 years, except a person employed under the provisions of s. 562.13 acting in the scope of her or his employment, to have in her or his possession alcoholic beverages, except that nothing contained in this subsection shall preclude the employment of any person 18 years of age or older in the sale, preparation, or service of alcoholic beverages in licensed premises in any establishment licensed by the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco or the Division of Hotels and Restaurants.

You have to be 18 years of age to serve alcohol, 21 to drink it :)

You must be 18 to serve and 21 to drink. Though some restaurants require if you are 18 you must serve with a 21 yr old or older accompanying you. HTH!

Read the laws.... In the state of Florida you have to be 18 to serve/bartend etc. But you have to be at least 21yrs old to drink.

Not that I'm advocating drinking while pregnant, but if somebody DOES feel the need then the last month is the safest time to do it. I'd love to see somebody file a lawsuit complaining that they were refused alcohol at a bar while pregnant, if only to watch the judge smack them upside the head with his gavel before he threw out the suit.
