Not to sound conceited or anything, but I think that I am a really great guy and I really want to start dating again. I'm shy but I'm not shy. I'll go up to a girl and talk to her, but I don't know what to say in terms of making a move. What do girls want guys to say them? I'll like having intelligent conversations. Do girls like that? Give me some good advice. Don't give me one sentence answers.

Just be open and honest. Don't play the "game" and try to be all slick and use moves on us. There is nothing worse than some guy coming up to me and acting all cocky and smarmy. I'd way prefer someone to come up, start a normal conversation and then, if the talking has gone good for a little while, ask for my number or email. Oh, and if you're at a bar, offer to buy her a drink!! Even if she doesn't take you up on it, it's still a nice offer!

I love being able to have an actual intelligent conversation with a guy. I think its awesome!
If you want to take a girl out just start with simple conversation and ask her out half way through. Or when every you feel comfortable with asking her. Try and portray confidence but not *********. Pay attention to her body language too. If she's turned toward to and makes good eye contact, she's interested. If she's turned away from and constantly looks around or fiddles with things she probably isn't into you.

oh contrare my good friend. A library is a good place to meet a smart and interesting girl and most likely not a party hooker, however, do not interrupt someone that is studying diligently. That is a bad idea. However, a quick comment or two when it presents itself will get yourr proverbial foot in the door. If she responds and seems very interested chat her ear off. Good luck killer.

ask her how she is and than what she do if she go to college or to the uni or what ever you think.
It different some girls likes intelligent conversations but ask first what she do (work or studie) and than You will know what you should talk about.
But NEVER talk about the weather!!
