Pretty much we are selfish a holes and the sooner you try and not change that about us the better you are!
I am sure throughout your relationships you haven't been miss sweet and innocent and did not do one thing wrong and I am sure he didn't say anything seeing were getting some and it really didn't bother us because were getting some on a steady basis.
If a man says he isn't a self ****** or disagrees with you saying that, then he must be gay?

So every relationship that YOU have been in seems to go downhill after 3 years and YOU want to know what is wrong with men. Look at all your past relationships and see if YOU see anything that they all have in common, I know YOU can figure this one out.

I would second the motion that you need to work together.Btw, I applaud the majority of Women who answered this question with enough intellectual honesty and emotional maturity to admit that Men are not the only guilty ones in a stale relationship.

This will happen when relationships are rushed into. it is impossible to know someone without taking the time to get to know them. a good strong and lasting relationship takes time and if you don't want to feel like your wasting your time always get to know as much as possible before the relationship begins. Keep in mind dating can be fun and should never be seen as a relationship until you know for a fact this is the one you are wanting to be with. best of luck.

Why are you in relationships with men for 3 years without being engaged or getting married? These relationships aren't working because you're not the one for these guys and they are not the one for you -- if so, they would've proposed right away.

Because after that, you've pretty much heard all the stories and life experiences from the person you're with, and you've prolly probed every nook and cranny of each other's bodies.
Big trick is how to stay together after that. I think my parents are heros for being able to stick it out for 30+ years

no one ever said relationships/marriages were easy. They take work and it's a two way street. The best way to remedy the situation is with communication and compromise.
Start talking to each other again.

That is a good question. I have not had a girlfriend in over 20 years. I feel as low as I can go without doing something drastic.
Hang in there ya can do it!!!!

3 years, damn your lucky enough to keep him sane that long, but i see it when it ends up time for me to hang up the cane and buy a volvo when I find someone i like to be around and who can make me smile... but if you about to tell me since you've been together that long, and **** has hit the fan, start cheating, cause an old wise man who had been togethre for over 50 years said the key to keeping that love last... "cheating" you have to its natural babe

It's hard to keep things fresh after any extended period of time. And it goes both ways; it's not just his fault.
Communicate. Don't simply assume he is thinking a certain way, and if you have a question, be asking him, not us.
