I've never done home remedy and have asked my dentist about this. However, he informed me that even the whitening strips can do serious damage to the roots of teeth. He suggested bleaching once a year to maintain pearly whites, this is to whiten without any serious damage. Opalesense was what I used, I am a coffee drinker and havent bleached in over 2 years. My teeth are movie star white. Invest in something like this that worrrrks.

Ok here is lots of tips
I use vivid white night by crest at night

In the morning I use colgate whitening or crest whitening with peroxide and baking soda.

You can buy whitening strips

I saw something at walmart lastnight that I will be getting next week I forgot what it is called but it is in a box and it says 5 minute whitening and it has a mouth peice you put the whitening stuff in and you just leave that on for a certain amount of time.

I have heard you can swish with peroxide after you are done brushing your teeth.

Make sure you dont drink to much soda, or coffee.. Can stain your teeth..

Make sure you floss between your teeth so it will remove the stuff between so it wont stain...

I have been in the process of trying to make my teeth whiter, and it looks like it has helped some... GOOD LUCK!!

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be taken.

I used crest white strips premuim...

i wouldnt reccomend using those if you have any kind of tooth sensitivity...i used them for 2 days, twice a day and after those 2 days my teeth were BURNING... they felt raw for about 3 days... even breathing on them hurt... there fine now but i wouldnt suggest using whitestrips.

Use baking soda on your toothbrush. Don't use Lemon juice, it is too harsh and will wipe out the enamel on your teeth.

I would use the dentist instead of the home remedies because all of them can be abrasive
