Are you getting enough sleep? Maybe its not pep you need maybe your so amped up that you need to calm your self...motocross is alot of mental and physical challenge...get yourself in that zen state...I would suggest some quiet meditation and a nice glass of fresh juice or some green tea...if you take some kind of energy drink then you might be agitating your state of mind...eat balanced meals no fried foods and lots of fresh fruits and vegies try this for a couple of weeks and you will see the difference stay away from potatoes and white refined flour items cakes and cookies etc. by the way that old addage (a apple a day keeps the dr. away) is very true...a big fugi apple is filling but also gives you a source of energy and fiber too. Try whole foods... not energy drinks they just are full of carbs and they bring u up and drop you flat.. fast... gatoraid replenishes electrolytes and keeps your body regulated...just get a well balanced diet good rest and a time for reflection eat a apple while reflecting before the race and you will feel much better...all night parties and booze will make you tired also...just use good common since....and read lables on drinks low carbs are better...by the way if you try this it will take at least 3 to 4 days to get all the crap out of your system that your doing now...also no caffine...lots of water will flush all those bad carbs away so you can purify your system....if god makes it, eat it, if man makes it stay away...good luck

My sister's boyfriend always eats chicken fajitas and sour cream.
with a red bull and it gives him the energy that he needs for the race.
