In all honesty they want the very same as you want.
love and understanding. they want you to love them and be proud of the fact. I say proud as a way of saying once you are with them all others mean nothing so you do not feel the need to look around. understanding is they want you to listen but also they want you to be open and talk to them.
as others have told you there is no single answer here and the subject could go on for days but be a man and work be nice and polite be open and adventurous and be willing to show your love. other than that don't do anything to her you would not like done to you and always do for her what you would want her to do unto you.
