The true meaning of strength is knowing when to act and when to hold back.

I'm assuming you mean from a personality point of view?

Strength is actually having a strong boundary. A boundary is the ablitly to say yes and say no, to hear yes and to hear no.

Someone who is thin skinned has a thin boundary, they don't have a clear idea if what they like vs what they don't o they let other people decide for them.

Someone who is the opposite, will often say no before you even get a chance to say a word, they tend to be lonely, and starve for affection.

Strength is knowing when and how to say and hear no, when to say and hear yes.

Someone with strength really knows who they are at their core and will not deviate from that, unless THEY decide to do so.

True Strength comes from commitment. To be able to dedicate your entire life to a greater good, and I mean entire life, is the definition of strength.
