No pain for 24 hrs after extraction, but the day after, the bottom of the cavity looks white/yellowish and I started to have a bit of pain and some inflamation. I think some food may be stuck there or coud it be bone/dry socket? It doesn't come out with gentle rinsing. Do I need to see dentist again?

a bit of pain and inflammation -- that's not dry sockets - dry sockets is the gut wrenching pain that makes you want to stick you head through a wall! if it gets that bad -- oil of clove.... yes, oil of clove - that's what the dentist will do.
in the interim, take a regular tea bag, steep a quick cup of tea, take out the bag and set it to the side.... let it reduce to room temp - or whatever temp you can handle and lightly bit down with it over the affected area. my dentist always gives me one when i leave because he knows i can't stand tea so it wouldn't be in my house LOL
if it's not better by tomorrow i'd go in for a visit - if it does become dry sockets - you will NOT want to live with that over the weekend.

you need to get to the dentist asap. Anytime you are seeing inflammation, and "yellow", there could be an infection brewing. It is too early to have a dry socket, and believe me, if you had one, you would know it! Dry sockets happen 4-5 days after surgery. At the very least, the dentist can give you a syringe to help keep the area clean while it heals, and if necessary, an antibiotic, for an infection. Good Luck!

Try warm salt water swish. Also 1/2 peroxide, 1/2 water will prevent an infection.
Call the Dentist just in case--its almost the weekend.

I had the same thing happen when I got my wisdom teeth removed. I called my oral surgeon just to be sure everything was ok. It gets pretty gross as it heals but as long as you swish and dont pick at it, it should be ok. There is some good stuff you can get called Peroxyl by Colgate. It is kinda pricey and tastes nasty but it prevents infections and whatnot.
