My neighborhood is an out of the way enclosed circle, with a park in the middle. We are a close neighborhood with the inner circle and outer. Noone can really find it so we do not really have to worry about crime. I can sit in the front window and watch the kids play. We have neighborhood picnics. It is great I would not change it for anything!!!

We live in a neighborhood of fairly new split level and ranch homes. The surrounding familys have children ranging from newborn to 11.

It's a nice neighborhood, and I love my house. I am friendly with my neighbors, but they aren't my best friends. We've only lived here about a year and I don't feel like I belong to the neighborhood clique yet, and I'm not sure I want to belong to it.

It's a brand new subdivision..but it seems old to us because we were one of the first ones to have our house built out here. It's very nice and quiet, but some things bother me. We don't have sidewalks, big trees for shade, and there are alot of "split level" houses that are all the same floor plan and look too much alike. There isn't alot of variety when it comes to houses out here. There's 4 others like ours---at least they're on the other side of the neighborhood though.

Our neighborhood is old. Its very diverse, and I do love it. Its in a business district, and across from a grocery store, movie theatre, hotels, and other places. However, its still a quiet neighborhood. I'm so glad I dont have to hear gunshots everynight now.

tons of houses, developed in different stages, most houses were built between 20 and 5 years ago. Not a ton of variety, a core design theme, although mine is the only one like it.

Lots of kids of different ages, loads of mini vans, SUV's and such. It's not bad and on Juy 4th we have a block party (in my area). At Christmas we pass out plates of cookies to each other (well, not everyone, but many neighbors do). Kind of nice.

It's a military community. It's old and run down but it's very safe. We live on base...I grew up this way and don't know much different. I love it. People are friendly and helpful. I know my neighbors and have everything I need pretty much around me.

Mine is a little sad right now. Katrina had her way with it. It's coming back though due to the determination and care from my neighbors. That's why I love it.
