I've just started dating a guy, I met him about a month ago. I was wondering what some fun, cheap dates are...the "dinner and a movie" thing is going to get old fast. Our school is in a small town (about 25,000 people) and it seems like there's not a lot to do.

Hey you are lucky - my kid's college is in a town of 7,000.
-- Does the school have activities? Plays, concerts, etc.
-- College Sports events are cheap and the teams would love your support.
-- What about outdoor activities - hiking, rafting, etc - around your school?
-- Are there volunteer opportunities you can do together?
-- Check your local town paper - often there are community events, festivals, and so on that are really fun to do.
--How about good old fashioned board games? You may find that your friends like Scrabble or Monopoly too.
-- Check out your student union for pool tables, ping pong, knock hockey, etc.
-- Bowling (not too cheap tho!)
-- Bike rides (most student unions these days have bikes, canoes, etc that you can check out for a day or a weekend).
-- Do you have a dorm kitchen? You guys cook up a meal for your friends.
Hope some of these ideas help. I went to college in a small town with a wonderful outdoor environment and was NEVER bored.

I like to go bowling, or get together with a bunch of other couples for game night. (Pictionary, board games) It may seem cheesy, but if you have a good group then it will turn out to be fun.

Go pumpkin or apple picking...Hay rides...Tis the season if you live in a state w/ great fall weather :)

sneek into a hotel and go hot tubbing!! Thats what i use to do.
