If I were shopping for a belief my ideal God(s) would be.....?

Why? (no Babel quotes, please)

Why not the other "faiths"?

Your ideal god would be...

One that promises beer volcanoes and stripper factories in the afterlife.

Luckily, such a deity exists. Touch the noodly appendage of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Get saved... get carbs.

There is only one GOD and He said that we are to have no other gods before us. It isn't about religion and which one is ideal. It is about what GOD dictates as the way we should come to Him. He was clear at the beginning when He said Let US make man in our own image that there was an established GOD head. GOD the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. They are one but three. (example: an egg is one but it contains a shell, a yolk and a white).
The way GOD dictated was one way. When man sinned GOD the Son (Jesus) came and died once for all man's sin so that all that accepted Him and His sacrifice and confess their sins would be saved. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Light. No man comes to the Father except through me."
We can do nothing to redeem our sins. But Jesus being sinless did it for us. All we can do is accept Him and confess that we are sinners. We can't work our way to GOD. Jesus plus anything is a false form of faith and religion.

Brahmin, from the hindu religion seems to fit the best description of what god is to me. Brahmin is EVERYTHING. If you read the Upanishads, they are a short and easy read, but they really give insight into the nature of god in a way that feels true. And you don't have to be hindu. You can be whatever you want, i just think that Brahmin seemed the most true.

Muslims say their god came back to life. (yeah I know they call him the holy prophet (what a joke))... but they still have his grave site marked... same with buddhists.. but it is not =even for sure where the Christ was buried... BECAUSE HIS BODY AIN'T THERE!!!! when some one who despised Him pays people to say that he was stolen... (yeah right... 11 fisherman and some tax dude against armed roman troops)... that should pretty much tell you what you need to know...

oh yeah that quote you wanted (or did not want to be more precise)... He is the resurrection and the life...

Buddha. Non-judgemental, honors life above all things, not vengeful, jealous, doesn't destroy cities, doesn't make evil beings to rule the underworld, doesn't flood the world when he becomes dissatisfied with humanity, likes to eat, accepts all, considers wisdom to be the highest achievement.
