Like falsely accusing Christianity of killing many people.

It is written in the bible that a born again Christian cannot abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within. Also in 1-3 John a Christian cannot even hate in their heart.

So, how are true Christian going to murder people when God deals with any root of bitterness (unforgiveness)?

I can see my question attracted some false accusers. I'm a Christian & also have read history. I also have read the Word of God. So, I can discern false accusations easily.

The devil is the slanderer & false accuser root. He is always planting false accusations (subtile destructive thoughts). To many obviously believe his accusations readily.

Snaglefry, Good answer. I have doubts that any true Christian can kill though (God deals with His Children when they are in unforgiveness.). Except in a righteous war to protect one's country or other innocent people from corruption, or even to protect family. So only in that case I would say a Christian might kill to save lives of others. But I don't call that murder.

Perhaps it is because most people find it easier to believe the accusation than to take the time to research or give consideration beyond a cursory glance. And very often the accusation fits in nicely with their preconceived notions. Voila: automatic validation and justification.

Ummm...they aren't a true christian? Everyone makes mistakes? There is NO DOUBT that millions of people throughout history have been killed in the name of christianity by people claiming to be christians. This has been documented about a thousand times more thoroughly than the existance of christ, in many cases by the christians themselves. So the whole false accusation thing is bs.
Many christians sin and do terrible things; just watch the news.

None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. Daniel 12:10
It the old mind game trick many fall prey to. An example is a thief, he steals and does not get caught then tells everyone someone else did it, and, they believe! No actual research, just accept the lie. Heck, there been plenty of crazy people, some claim they killed for God, some say they killed for their home planet to take over Earth. I tend to disbelieve both! Ha!! They killed because they are wicked and need an excuse to justify their hate, and Dumbos believe them! True some Christians have killed, but, so have every other type person from an Atheists to a Moron, that is Human Nature!!!

Be careful what you say or Zeus may strike you down. And people have been killing in the name of all religions, that is the only reason religions survive, through fear, murder, and telling of fictional stories, such as the ones in the bible. Are you saying the people involve in the Crusades were not true Christians??

Catholic popes were, until modern times, basically warlords. Even during WW II, the Catholic church turned it's back on the Holocaust. GWB claims to be a Christian, yet has sent countless innocent men and women to their graves fighting a war based on lies. I guess there is a vast difference between people who claim to be Christian and those who actually are, the only problem is that by the time you find out who is authentic and who is just posing, the poser has already committed some kind of harm...

Chew on this for a little while. Christians make up about 75% of the US population and 75% of the US prison population. No big surprise there.

Atheists, on the other hand, make up about 10% of the US population... but they make up only 0.2% of the US prison population. Now, isn't THAT a surprise? That means that atheists are FIFTY (50) times LESS LIKELY to be incarcerated than Christians. Pretty strange, huh, for a group that has no god-given guiding moral principals?

I can think of only two possibilities that might reasonably be said to account for this discrepancy:

1. Atheists are of a higher ethical and moral caliber than Christians, and thus are less prone to do the same kinds of nasty things that land so many Christians in the slammer;

OR,

2. Atheists are, overall, a lot smarter than Christians and thus, they are less likely to get caught in the course of their transgressions.

It's GOT to be one or the other... take your pick.

So you truly think that a Christian is not capable of harming another human? Come out of your cave, educate yourself a little, and join the real world.

Right. Remember the Crusades? Christian. That is enough of a lesson today.

Majority of them (accusers) are bitter and angry. Sadly the church might have something do do with this BUT they are still responsible to grow up, let go and move on.
