There is absolutely no way for you to know how you're body is going to handle pregnancy. It depends on so much! Like where you carry your baby, some carry up high in there belly and some carry the baby low. I carried my daughter pretty low, which of course stretched out that part of my belly which is ofcourse the worst place to try and tighten back up. Stay healthy as possible during your pregnancy, you know walk often and drink plenty of water and you'll be just fine! Don't worry about it. I was always a little big, I weighed 135 lbs. and I'm 5'4". After I had my daughter a little over a year ago I lost all my baby weight and then some, now I'm smaller then I've ever been in my life 114lbs. So, everyone is different.

It really depends on your genetic make up. If you have always been petite and never had to struggle to keep your weight down, you have a good chance of regaining close to your original shape after you have a baby. Your hips will be a little wider because your bones shift even when you have a c-section. You might have stretch marks and a little extra skin on your stomach, but that depends on how much elasticity your skin has naturally. If you eat right during your pregnancy and afterwards, you shouldn't have too many problems losing the baby weight. Don't expect it to come off all at once. Breastfeeding can help you lose weight, but some women feel it makes their breasts sag, so you have to decide between the pros of breastfeeding or keeping your breasts perky. There is no way to tell for sure how your body will respond to having a baby, but if you take care of yourself at least you will know you did all you could to get back to your original shape.

Stay active. However, don't be so active and work yourself to death. Remember, you have a little baby in your growing so you have to go easy. They have pilates and yoga for women who are expecting. That is what I did. I only gained 22 lbs when pregnant and pretty much lost the weight after the birth of my child. I'm actually smaller than I was before I got pregnant. Originally I was 5" and 115 lbs. Now I'm 5" and 108 lbs at a size 4, before I was a size 6/7. Simply eat right. Not a lot of junk, soda's, etc. Fruits, veggies, h2o, juices, milk and the dailey nutrients. It's not only good for you, but good for your baby. Pilates is the key though! Seriously!

Personally I think that pregnancy did my body good!!!LOL After I had my daughter I was actually thinner than I was before I got pregnant with her. The first trimester I actaully lost about 20 pounds and didn't gain anything until about my 7th month. When I became pregnant with her I weighed 150 and after I gave birth to her I weighed 130 So go figure! Anyway I think everyone is different and maybe pregnancy might mae you look better. But you're only 18 you have alot of time to worry about kids, don't do it now. You still have alot to look forward to. I'm not saying that being a mother is not something to look forward to but think about all the things that you can miss being only 18!

People stay thin by taking care of themselves. You are more likely to snap back to close to your old figure the younger you are but metabolism and body type play a big roll. I was a tiny little thing when I got pregnant at 27 and was able to get back into a Junior size 5 a few months after having the baby. After my 2nd, at 33, my body changed a bit and I am now in a womans size 4/6.

I'm 30 years old and I have 3 kids. I have always weighed between 120 and 125 lbs. I have always gone back to my prepregnancy weight all three times. With my first I lost 2 extra pounds, with the other two I lost almost 10 extra pounds. Not to diss or look down on other mothers but I attribute it to exclusively breast feeding for, a least, the first four months of their lives. Also doing Keagal excersices helped the uterus go back to its normal size and by the time I had my two week checkup I was good to go. I also ate whatever I wanted all three times. It probably depends on your metabolism rate now. Hope I was of some assistance.

Take a look at the women in your family who have had children. Both me and my sister were slender, we weren't bone skinny, but average for our heights. All the women in my family have hips and butts that grew after they had kids, my mom calls it the family curse. And wouldn't you know I got it, but I'm not that upset. I don't mind have rounder hips and more junk in the trunk, but it sounds like you might. If the women on your side of the family stayed pretty trim after having a few children then you should have no problem with just a good diet and little excersise to keep the muscles strong.

I'm not sure how that works, I gained a little bit after my baby (like 13 lbs) and my friend (who weighed 98 lbs like you) went right back to her same weight when her baby was born. I think it depends on your metabolism. I know a girl who has had three babies and is still hecka skinny, then again I know another girl who was skinny and only had one and know she's struggling with her weight, I think it depends on the person

I exercised while pregnant, after I had the baby I only had 10 pounds to loose to get back to my real weight, and when I breast fed for 4 months it was gone!
HOWEVER! my son is 2 now and I dont have time to exercise, now I have gained 15 pounds, Sounds like I need to get to it!
