I am too! We must be sisters!

I'm using cream, gold, and cocoa

I do love the other ladies suggestions as well because I love warm colors. I also saw in a bridal mag that two of the most popular color themes these days is light blue/cocoa brown, and magenta/tangerine.

But whatever you choose, you'll be stunning!

Also (I just HAD to add this), the lady who sent the link to her in her dress and the little cakes (where they cupcakes?) Absolutely gorgeous!!

If you use Calla Lilies as the flowers, be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. My best friend got married this past Sept and we looked at callas for the bridesmaids' flowers. Because of the season you are looking at between $7-$15 per STEM!!!
That being said, go with bright, fall colors..... burnt oranges, yellows, deep reds...

hope that helps

I work for a catering company and serve as a wedding and event design coordinator. There are not really any rules you have to follow this day and age, but chocolate brown is a good base color to use for a fall wedding. You can then pair it with lilac, lavender, apple green/sage, pink or ivory. My one suggestion would be to make sure if you choose ivory, you do not want white accents, i.e. tablecloths/candles etc. Calla Lilies are a beautiful choice and most easily found in ivory but dark purple anda mauve-pink are also available.

Two of our fall weddings were Chocolate, Apple Green and Ivory, but we also had one that was Navy and Ivory.

You also should consider where you are getting married. These weddings were both outdoor tent wedding and the coloring went with the natural atmosphere of the outdoors.

Traditionally, darker colors are more "acceptable" for fall weddings.

I used Calla Lilies in my wedding! I planned the whole theme around them. My colors where red and white. Calla's are a symbol of new beginnings. They are so elegant and simple. Any colors would work with them. How about brown and light blue, dark green and white, dark red and gold. Fall colors are very pretty. If you wanna see pictures of how I used Calla Lilies just let me now!

I got married on August 27th. I used Victorian Lilac and Silver with a little bit of pink thrown in with my flowers. Also, my husbands vest was a titanium color instead of the matching purple like the groomsmen.

Each one of my bridesmaids had a small bouquet with one large White Lily and some smaller white roses. I had a larger bouquet with Stargazer Lilies roses and other stuff (It was pink, purple, and white). I attached a picture below. Sorry it is all around not a very good picture, but it's all I have access to here at work. My mom took it and she is a very bad photographer.

Then at the reception we had wooden trays with candles, river rocks, a single Stargazer Lily (Top Part), and some orchid tops. We also stuck some orchids into my cake stand. We baked the cakes ourselves and even built the stand.

Congratulations!

I'm getting married then too :)
We are going with a dark green as our main color and planning to use seasonal flowers. Maybe some type of mixed wild flower looking boquets with oranges, reds, golds, etc you get the idea. But if you want to use white flowers you can go with almost anything, I like the suggestion to use earth tones. The other color we were thinking about was a deep wine red.
Good Luck!!

Im getting married in the fall as well and we will be using the colors wine and champagne. Earthy/Autumn tones are great in the fall, but keep in mind contrast.... you dont want a dark orange and a red... very little contrast. Get some color swatches (fabric store or even a paint store) and compare them to each other til you find a combination you like... then you can use those swatches to find the colors you want (obviously they may not be the same color if youre using paint swatches, for that matter different manufacturers call colors the same names but are different shades... we have found that wine comes in about 40 shades LOL)

I am also getting marrie din the fall of next year...its my favorite time of year in Ohio because of all of the colors. Like you, I couln't make up my mind so I chose all the colors except blue. Red, Orange, Yellowy-gold, Apple Green, Magenta, Purple, Bronze, Rusty brown, Chocolate Brown, Ivory...wow, thats a lot of colors. I too am using orangy red calla lillies for my bouqet, and using mostly dries leaves and willow branches as well as fruit and gourds for my altar flowers and center pieces. I hope this helps. And hey, if you like blue, by all means throw some royal blue in there with peacock feathers!

Think rich Fall colors, yellows, oranges, and deep purples all go well together

a rich purple calla against a warm pumpkin dress for the bridesmaids would look great!
