i dont understand that. please explain that in detail what the hell that means. the type of love i had/have for my x was the type that i didnt wanna ever let her go.

thats a hard one for me to get too...
on one hand i think it is true that if u really love someone u should be willing to do anything to make that person happy...even if it means that u arent in the picture....
but on the other hand i feel like if u really love someone and the feelings are mutual...the 2 of u should be able to do whatever it takes to stay together...nothing or nobody would be able to keep u apart
but listen to what u just said....u had the type of love for ur ex that u didnt want to let her go...but u did...

Cuz you wanted all the good things for yourself that you didn't ever wanna let her go. That's why they say lurve is selfish.
What you want is not what she wants. You thinking you know her mind.
But true love is thinking what is best for the other person. When you let go, THAT, is sacrifice. Love is sacrifice. The ultimate expression of letting someone go because of love, not inspite of love. That is an eternal expression.
This is the hardest thing to do for both boys and gals. Sorry bout your relationship tho.

k simply put there's more to that saying "if you love someone let them go, if its meant to be they will come back." its kind of self explanatory. anyways i completely believe in it because my current relationship happened just that way and we've been together 5 years now. and yes it can be so hard to let some one go but just think of the future possibilities that you could have with that person if you could just let them go now.

that means if that person loves someone so much that they would do anything to see them happy even is it is not with them if the love was there then they will see that its not sweeter on the other side and come back
