Say you cant find a relationship where both people love equally. Do you think its more important to know you'll always be loved unconditionally but never really be able to return the love. Or vise versa.

I think in a relationship, there's never really a time that both people would love each other equally. There will be times when one loves more than the other and vice versa. The most important thing is respect and communication, then it doesn't matter who loves who more. You will just always have an understanding that it's forever, no matter what the level of love is.

Well in any relationship one can only concern themselves with their own behavior. If you are practicing humility-putting others' needs before your own and loving them unconditionally-then you know you are doing the right thing. If the other person is not at least showing you humility then you need to find someone else. If you have to question an outside source on whether or not that person is showing it, then you already know in your heart that the person is not.

We are to love everyone unconditionally, but we are not supposed to be stupid, either. Dont waste resources on those who are not showing appreciation. The Lord wants you to be happy, not miserable.

love has to be from both ways it doesn't matter who loves who more but the 2 persons in the relationship have to love each other a relationship wont work if only one person is loved. in Maltese we say the word 'recciproka' which means a person should be able to love and be loved in return.

I look at it like this: she will never do for me all the things that I will do for her. If she did, I'd just be dating myself anyways. It's all about understanding what you're partner is offering you and appreciating it for what it is worth. If it is enough, then you have found someone special. My gf now has always had a tough time expressing herself to me, but when she does, it means everything because while I don't see it often, it is a side of her that only I get to see.

If it's not mutual on both sides, I don't see the point. It would be more like an obession/Fatal Attraction-type of thing. If you can't return the love someone is giving you, it's not fair to the other person.

Every relationship needs some give and take. If there isn't an equal amount of both, then it isn't worth the stress.

Are you serious? If you both are not commited 100% the relationship will not work...trust me...
It is easy to love but hard to let someone love you becasue of the fear of being hurt....
It has to be equal or it will not work...good luck

If both hearts aren't in the relationship, the relationship is doomed. Neither person will find happiness in a relationship in which only one person is loved.
I couldn't be with someone I didn't love and it would be sad to see that person suffer.
Also, I couldn't be with someone who didn't love me. That would break my heart.

In a relationship it is important for both of you to give love, if its only one sided it probally won't work out, and if it does one of you won't be very happy.

In a relationship it is important to do both, if you can't do both then there is a problem, solve it and move on and if it can't be solved then move on. Good luck.
