Oh is it ever a super delight. It is known as Penne A'la Vodka and is a creamy tomato and vodka sauce. I love Rachael Ray's recipe and have added the link here. It's simple, and easy to make, of course. I've tried a few, but this is the best by far. There have been times I have used the Barrila brand in the jar.
Do try the Not Single for long sauce, you'll make it often.

Simple but dangerous vodka sauce:
Add 1 tbsp. of red pepper flakes to 1 C of vodka.
Heat vodka over medium high heat. Turn on exhaust fan, because the fumes are potent. Allow vodka to reduce for about 8 min.
Put about 1/3 lb. of thinly sliced prosciutto into vodka. Heat through on med., about 2 min.
Add 1 16 oz. can of plum tomatoes, whole to vodka. Continue to cook on med., cut up tomatoes w/ potato masher while in pan.
Pour in about 1/4 C of heavy cream. Take off heat.
Toss rigatoni w/ sauce and add 1/2 C of GOOD grated cheese. Toss again, then top w/ some fresh herbs (like basil & parsley)
ENJOY!!! :)

Yes! I love this! Works with any pasta, especially with sausage in it. Make your favorite sauce as normal and simmer, pour about 1/4 cup of vodka in it. Simmer more. At the very end put a hearty splash of cream in it. Heat through and toss with everything. I so love this. If you have all the ingredients it's so simple. You can walk away from the stove most of the time.

Pasta alla Vodka is wonderful. I make it at home and I have found a few places that make it pretty well. Its just a nice pink sauce with a little zing from the vodka.

Penne Alle Vodka, to die for. Since I am not the best cook I cannot give directions. However most Italian restaurants carry this dish and if you are on a date its a good choice because the noodle is small and easy to eat. Not messy like Spagetti.

Chop total tomatoes and upload them to the pan. Then, upload the relax components. Simmer for a minimum of half-hour. Sauce is superb with Italian sausage or a mix of floor pork and Italian sausage. Brown one after the different and upload to the sauce. in case you like bell peppers- upload on the comparable time because of fact the onion.
