I once had a carfull of teens pull around me and into a spot I was waiting to enter. I had waited on the previous car to leave the spot and was getting ready to enter the spot when the teens beat me to the spot and then laughed at me. So I parked elsewhere and let the air out of their tires on my way into the store.

Stalk them for a month, then kill their dog.

If I'm PMSing I confront the person (against the advice of everyone I know) and let them know what the hell a car sitting with it's signal on means. Not one person has given me the spot back, so it's pretty much a waste of time and energy and is potentially dangerous.

I did put shaving cream on one one girl's windshield at a mall one Christmas, but that was over the top, even for me. However, if you had heard her response to my question as to why she did that, you would probably understand why I did it. I won't do anything like that again. It was the stress of Christmas shopping and driving in the snow and then waiting 5 minutes for an old lady to pull out of that spot. Not my finest moment.

Was your signal on to indicate "ownership" of the spot? If it wasn't, you lose.

If it was, and they saw it, they were rude. But there will always be rude people in this world. You did a far worse thing in retaliation by flattening their tires. That was excessive, given the nature of their "crime". Their vehicle was not yours to touch in any way, shape or form.

Get used to rude people and don't take it personally, especially when it comes to driving and parking. Some people think they own the road and that-be-that.

Hahahaha, that is great!!! Good for you! My sister once parked her car directly behind the person that took her spot and walked up to the guy's window and stood there to block him from opening his car door and refused to move until he agreed to back out of the spot. He refused at first but once he realized she wasn't moving, he gave up and left the spot. In the long run it's not about the parking spot, it's about having respect and consideration for other people.

Hope you weren't seen if you really let the air out of their tires. Glad you resisted having words. Might have turned into road rage.

Just because a bunch of teenagers beat you to a spot did not give you the right to flatten their tires....you could have been arrested for that! Just ignore them...someday they will grow up to be law-abiding citizens. Why lower yourself to their level...find another parking spot and be thankful you can!

HaHa that is GREAT. they deserve it. If they want to steal my spot they are going to have to hit me first because I will just drive up in front of them.

I hope that makes them think twice about laughing at people. I HATE todays teenagers. They are mean, spiteful, disrespectful, arrogant, rude, etc.
