No, but as you get older, elevator music becomes the nostalgic music from your childhood. You probably know more of the songs they play now than you ever did before.

no i dont think you are getting old, its just that now a days music is filled with so much mess with drugs and sex and muder and gangs that good old fashioned music sounds great because its "clean" music. I'm come to enjoy clean music now too!

When you get an AARP offer for membership. When the songs you grew up on are now part of the "time-life collection." When you recognize hairstyles as repeating themselves. When you notice your parents getting old. When you remember how much soda, gas and whatever else used to cost. When you think the kids these days are no good from when you were a kid.

What's really sad is when you're going through the grocery store and they're playing "grocery store music"...and it turns out they're playing the Backstreet Boys!
