ok so my bfs mom hates me. It all started with a pict that was on his cell and she happened to see it. I mean she disliked me from the start and shes never really met me. What can i do to get her to like me becasue i really want her approval in the relationship.

All you can really do is try and talk to her and find out things you guys have in common to talk about. If she still doesn't like you, then there isn't much you can do. You have to remember, the most important thing is that your man and you are happy!

that is very understandable, just do everything you can to prove her wrong she is just waiting for you to mess up. If you really think things are going to work with your bf then you are going to have to earn the trust from her. All parents want what is best for there child and noone is usually good enough until they get to know the parent and the parents can trust them. Just be respectful and nice even if you have to bite your tongue

I have been there! I was with my ex for 2 years and his mom never liked me because she wanted him to be back with his baby mama. At first it bothered me alot, but after a while a realized that it didnt really matter. My ex loved me and was with me not the baby mama. I think you should look at it like that because he is obviously with you because he wants to be, no matter what mommy dearest thinks. All I can say is GOOD LUCK!

time, maybe she needs to get to know you. Have people been feeding her information? Why is yur boyfriend not sticking up for you, why is he not telling his mom what a great person you are? Just be very polite to her when you do meet her and dont give her anyhting else to fuel the fire so to speak.

Well... Just put that in the back of your mind and just hang out over at the house alot. Tell her you are sorry for the picture.. That might help. I know it did when my boyfriends mom didnt like me.

give her time no one is probably good enough for her boy. i am a mother of 19 and never liked anyone for my children at first but it was the ones that just kept being themselves and did not try to impress me too much that i ended up liking the best.

When you marry someone you also marry into their family. If you cannot stand them then get out. You cannot pick only him and not his family. That will not work in the long run.

Just be yourself. Mom's don't like snobby stuck up girls so be sweet and kind. They like when they hear you talking about school or work because it looks like you have another interest besides their son.

i would reccomend not even worrying about it she doesnt control yours or your boyfriends life she needs to get along with your or leave it alone its really none of her buesness unless your bf is like 15 then i could see why
