Huh, well it seems like the Japanese, Chinese, and most other nations in the world are pretty upset about this. Your head is in the sand and you arent paying attention if you are stupid enough to think that the US is dictating what should happen in North Korea...

Lets see....... The U.N. decided that there should not be any country that did not have nukes should never have them. Of course I know the U. N. is worthless and corrupt.
The North Koreans can launch a missle that can hit Alaska and most of the Western Coast of the U.S.
The fall out for a nuke can spread throughout most of the world with the right winds blowing.
And to jessito........you are sadly mistaked. The U.S. has been getting rid of their nukes for the last ten years. The material goes to a site in Oregon and a few in Utah and Nevada. So please do not try to spout something you do not have facts about. Your hate toward the U.S. and its president is showing.

relax. North Korea on a scale of a million to 10 is unfavourable a million million.they have spent the final 50 years proving that. I assume China is going to spank their *** interior the subsequent week or in an attempt to close them up. If China would not, something of the worldwide will. superb determination without conflict is, China take over and supply the inhabitants a Hong Kong deal. Who knows? Northern peoples republic of make low fee each little thing might ensue...............

In the world markets and nuclear age, 15000km is nothing these days. The impacts to our trading partners, friends and allies are threats at our very borders....sorry.

First yes they are a serious threat.
But no we don't have a right to tell them what to do, but with that said we have to understand that they well will sell or use a bomb if they finally get it working.
So we have to understnad that by not doing it, we are going to be attacked in the US with atomic weapons at some point and time.
So that is why we do it,

The US cannot police the entire planet. We are already stretched too thin with our troops and resources... if we are to handle N. Korea, we need to do so diplomatically through the UN. Otherwise, this dictator that ACTUALLY HAS deadly weopans will end up using them against us.

North Korea first announced it was making an ICBM. Then it said it was going to explode a nuclear weapon. Now it says it wants to launch a nuclear weapon.

Not really, but it has nothing to do with distance. It has more to do with the fact that we have nukes and refuse to get rid of them, so how can we tell others they can't have any. We say it is because we are more benevolent, but we aren't really more benevolent anymore with George Bush in office. So no, America no longer has the right to say anything to anyone else about nukes (or about human rights violations anymore either).
