Throw it out immediately! Using your hair dryer to thaw the chicken out means that warm air heated the exterior of the chicken to above 40F (about 4C), which is considered by most health agencies to be the lower limit for rapid bacterial growth (what some like to call "The Danger Zone." Even though the rest of the chicken was still frozen solid, you woke up the bacteria residing on the skin of the chicken, and until you popped it back in the fridge and it got back down to temperature, the chicken had plenty of time to incubate. Multiply that by 4-5 freeze-thaw cycles, and you've got a bird that probably won't smell or taste good, and will most likely send you to the hospital if you cooked it and tried to eat it.

If this problem with your freezer and refrigerator ever happens again, leave everything frozen and only thaw what you plan on using right away. It's less convenient, but far, far safer.

Chicken is by far the "dirtiest" of meats--i.e. prone to going bad even faster than fish. Pitch the chicken. Too much could have happened in the refreezing. Your health is worth more than what you're saving by eating it.

If the chicken stayed fozen then it will be OK, if you even suspect it has thawed out even slightly, throw it away now!!

I would not take a chance with it. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

If the chicken can still cross the road, it's best to let it go..............
