i have severe back problems and have found that aleve, tylenol, advil, and a heating pad work best. Yes i have taken them all at once but i wouldn't suggest it because it really messed up my stomach...but since the doctors say "i am too young to have these problems" what choice do i have?

try aleve first and a heating pad...those seem to help the most

It is probably just musculoskeletal but since you did not give your age, you could also be having cardiac problems. If the over the counter pain meds and heat wraps don work, (Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen) go in for a check up as it might be something that should be looked into.

its better to stay away from pain killers pills they only kill the pain temporary , try to get al therapy massage and hot pads and you should see a doctor asap may be you are suffering from something else could be heart attack you have without you know it go and check with a Doctor now do not wait

I think you need to consult a doctor to learn why you have the pain. If they don't have any idea, try a chiropractor. They often help.

I have found that aleve works best for back pain, for me anyway.

Those "thermacare" or other brand of heat wraps that you can stick to your back also work really well.
