I've worked in a lot of places in the world as Instrument control Engineer, not much very different from your trade, (except we are much cleverer)!!!
But I have never come across any jobs going in Germany!
I can only suggest you do the same as I used to do, work on contract via an agency. You can pick out agencies from the Daily Telegraph, look under Engineering vacancies every Thursday, (I think the Telegraph even has a web site now)?
This will at least give you a start, dont worry about which country they are recruiting for, all you need is their address, then send them a CV and tell them you are looking for work in Germany, (why you want Germany is beyond me)?
It wont take long to send out a bundle of cv's and they will certainly start looking on your behalf, (thats what they are paid for, and not by you)!!
I dont know if you are from the UK or where you are from? but you can pick up this Telegraph web site no matter where you are from !
So good luck in your search, hope you have as much luck as I have in my employment!
Pity you didnt spend a bit more time at school you could have been an Instrument control engineer?????
(Dont have a fit, just joking)!

First off you have to get a passport and make sure they will let you in their country. I myself can't go live in Italy with my brother because I have a misdemeaner on my record. The war on drugs is so effective! Also clear up any unpaid parking tickets in the states.
Second you must have schooling and experience to become an electrical engineer. (Do not touch live wires, they are not as friendly as they look).
Third, once you are there and have made a large chunk of change get back in touch with me and lets look into if Germany will take me. You will need a creative type to attract all those german woman and drink beer with.
