Don't use water because that makes the carpet moldy. Use a heavy cleaner like Foam Resolve. Put it on and let it sit for a few minutes then dab it with a dry rag. After dabbing it a few times, scrub it until it comes out.

Look it up on the on the Web!!! One time someone spilled powder Kool-aid on my Carpet and my husband tryed to clean it up(which made it worst). I did not know what to do so I looked up on the Web ( "How to clean Kool-aid out of Carpet") and there where many answers and they work.

Use a pet stain remover with "enzyme action", leave it on for an hour and sponge off with warm water. The enzymes break down organic material.

Try Oxy-deep, made by Woolite. It works wonders. Saturate it and just let it sit overnight. Do it again next night if still showing.
