I'm surprised you have a slow cooker big enough. I've done chicken. If you want that crispy skin, then this isn't the method for you.It should be more moist. I prefer using basil, thyme, garlic powder, and a little onion powder. If you like poultry seasoning then try a dash (I personally don't).Add a little turkey broth (canned) and baste every hour or so. I'd say give it an hour per pound, but it depends entirely on your slow cooker. Better to start early and have it done. Good luck (yummmmy!)

It's pretty easy.

Put turkey in crock pot with one large can of cream of mushroom soup, the turkey will make it's own liquid to turn it into a gravy. Add a little salt and pepper to taste but not much salt as the soup has it in it already. I've never made one that big before, usually just a small turkey breast around 5 lbs or so and it took around 4-5 hours on high. Go to allreceipes.com or cooks.com they should have something on their for time. Good luck.

I don't have a crockpot big enough for a whole turkey but I have done a turkey breast. I usually add a can of soup....cream of mushroom or whatever. I've even done it dry for my father who is 85 and can't have salt. It takes about 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
