Well this is tricky since the turbines can be many different sizes. From the ones that are used in the Three Gorges Dam to a Micro sized one for a small creek or river.

Is this a trick question, because usually it's a hydroelectric dam (or turbine) that produce the electricity, not the other way around.

I suspect English isn't your first language.

It depends on the size of the Hydroelectric generator and the volume / head of water available. The generator can vary between the massive, supplying entire regions to the micro, supplying just one household.
The latter type can be seen in Wales and Scotland where there is a plentiful supply of streams running down steep hill / mountains to do the job. Giving what is essentially free power.
