The real question is why would you mutilate your child, deprive him of future sexual enjoyment, and expose him to possibly lethal medical risk? Do you circumcise your daughters too? Perhaps iron their breasts? Any other atrocities you'd like to admit to?

Your son has developed adhesions, the scar on what is left of the skin on the penis is attaching to the glans. The foreskin is not re-growing, unfortunately that is impossible, what has been lost is gone forever. Thousands of men would want to know how to re-grow theirs, including me.

COMPETENT DOCTORS can treat the rare problems that occur in uncircumcised males without surgery; INCOMPETENT DOCTORS circumcise. So there you have it this doctor is so incompetent he can't even carry out a mutilation correctly!

Complications occur at a rate of about one out of ten circumcisions, while most are said to be minor (I don’t know by who’s standards), some result in serious disfigurement or loss of function or even the total loss of the penis or life of the child. (CAN YOU IMAGINE DEALING WITH ANY OF THESE RESULTS OF AN UNNECESSARY ELECTIVE SURGERY?) These things happen in even major hospitals in this country!

What really matters is, it is HIS penis not yours, it was not your decision to make. You may have a legal ability to make this decision but you know you would be upset if someone had ok'd body modifying elective surgery on you.

Some doctors do use a local some still do not. The doctors don't think it is necessary because the little guys are easy to tie down and can't get up and leave or defend themselves anyway. Plus once the cutting begins the boy goes into shock and may even quit crying.

Does it really hurt the baby? If they give him a local that will wear off in a few hours, the pain isn't just during surgery it goes on for at least a week. Have you ever had a fingernail ripped off? The pain goes on and on for days.

Just because the boy can't tell you how bad it is doesn't mean that it is not painful. If you ignore a child's crying long enough they will quit crying, as it is not doing them any good anyway, nobody is making the hurt go away.

The thing is it is such an unneeded pain. The reasons that are used for circumcising are totally false.

If a doctor says circumcision is needed, it is because he/she doesn't know or want to know how to treat an intact penis. He can make more money cutting than he can by prescribing a cream to treat whatever little problem might arise.

More and more little boys are being left intact; those that are cut are going to see that they are missing something. Some day they will look it up and find just what was taken from them, without their consent. Do you want your son to ask, "Why did you have my penis cut? What gave you that right?

I see a lot of females answer these questions, like they have so much experience with what it is like to be circumcised. They have no idea! If her clothing was to grate against her clitoris every day all day, a woman might get the beginnings of an idea. They think it is just a flap of skin; with 240 feet of nerves and 20,000 specialized nerve endings the foreskin is comparable to the female clitoris.

It comes to this; some new mothers are so damn lazy they are willing to have their new baby cut on because somebody said it is easier than cleaning him or teaching him hygiene!

It does happen but not very often. Of course it's not because the first one didn't "work" it's because the first one wasn't done properly. A lot of doctors rush through the process and don't do it right. I am sorry to hear that happened to your son. It's very sad. Now he has to go through the pain and discomfort all over again. It doesn't seem fair.

I'd get a good attorney and discuss the doctors competancy! Never heard of such shennanigans! Once is bad enough but twice? I send my sympathy to the little fellow!

It happens on occasion, the doc that did the first one should be made to do the correction.... I HOPE you are not paying for the second time around.

How old is your son? My son had to be recircumcised when he was eight months old. The Doctor told us that it is not unusual for the foreskin to grow back over. They will anetitise the area, unlike when he first had it done. It is more upsetting to us Parents than to the child.. Good luck to you and your son.

What is it with Americans - why do you insist on mutilating your children for no good reason. Are you trying to tell God he made a mess up when he designed men and you have to put his stupid mistake right for him? Let our penises be free!!

My nephew had to have his redone. The foreskin started growing back because my sister didnt keep it pulled back well enough.
He will be fine, it is always hard when your kids have to have something done.
