they are the devils food!
they only grow when its dark, some of them can make u hallucinate and some of them are even poisonous!
they taste nasty too!
why would we want to eat them!

Damn straight sister!! Couldn't agree more. They are such a screwed up...species - if you can call them that! It really winds me up that people think they are suddenly lovely if they are smothered in garlic butter. How stupid!!!

you live on a very strange planet, not all mushrooms grow in the dark, theyre not nasty tasting, not all are haluciagenic, nor poisonous, else you couldnt have a bacon n mushroom sarnie could you,
some have fascinating life cycles, you should really study these things, instead of having a phobia about them, see 'em in the light?

Yuk Mushrooms are evil,
They make me sick,
They grow in the dark on piles of Poo!!!
They smell nasty when you cook them,
They are a horrid grey colour when cooked.
Best advise, avoid at all costs or beware!!

well...mushrooms are NOT evil. it is true that some of them are poisonous, and even some wild species known to be non-poisonous can become poisonous due to mutations. but if you buy them from your local supermarket and are labeled that they were cultivated in controlled conditions, it's 100% certain that they are non-poisonous. and about the taste, it's a matter of opinion

I think they are brilliant. I treat my mrs like a mushroom. Keep her in the dark about what I am doing and feed her on bullshit. Works wonders.

Only some of mushrooms are like this. There are several that are edible and are not poisonous or hallucinagenic. (The ones sold in the produce aisle in the grocery store are like this.)

oooh la la......mmmm i love mushrooms. The ones u buy in the shops are not poisonous...and they taste delicious. Of course, some are hallucigenic...but just keep away from them.
Truly, it was GOD'S wish for us to have mushrooms, so why would they be EVIL????????

Mushrooms are tasty . Take a large blob of butter, melt it, slice mushrooms add to butter add salt and pepper and fry a bit.Add two teaspoons of maizena [cornflour] to halve a cup of milk add to mushroom mixture and stir till it thickens.
There you have it lovely creamed mushrooms.:)))

I agree, don't like them, never will.
My wife and I swap vegis when we eat out. I get all her brocolli and green pepper and she gets my mushrooms. A perfect arrangement.
