Cream cheese is a fullfat cheese compared to something like feta or mozarella.
(It also depends on how much you're smearing on in one go.)
I love smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel (oops, I'm salivating just at the thought!) BUT I try to limit it to once -- maybe twice, a week. And, if I start feeling heavy, I'll cut back for a while!

It isn't bad for you per se. It is bad in heavy "doses" but if you do want it as part of your daily regimen, it would be wise to eat a healthy lunch and dinner, and get exercise. Other than that it should be fine. = ) I'm addicted to cream cheese too....And cheese cake. lol...Good luck with that!!

Bagel and cream cheese? Nothing wrong with it. Except both items are loaded - loaded! - with calories.

It's fairly high in fat and calories, so it's "bad" for you to eat a lot of it, and most people spread it on pretty thick.
