I like Rich from what I see of him on tv as a person and a fighter, but no way he beats Silva. Who has Franklin really fought? Everyone keeps saying Silva hasn't fought any1 to deserve this. That's a joke. Someone else commented that Franklin will want to keep the fight standing. wrong again. Silva is a fantastic fighter on his feet. He has better kicks that almost any fighter I have ever seen. The reverse is that Silva is also really good on his back. franklin will need to land a monster or hope Silva gets disqualified by using an illegal move again (like he did in his last fight he lost) for franklin to win. A Kenny Florean is a joke. Sherk takes him in the 1st 2 minutes EASY! Who didnt see deigo sanchez embarass florean in a matter of seconds in the ultimate fighter championship season 1? Sherk is much better than deigo was then and is a MUCH better fighter than any fighter Florean has EVER faced. this fight is a joke. Kenny better hope Sherk slips on the way to the ring.

BOO YAH ! told all you delusional Franklin fans Silva was no joke. 2-0 on my prdeictions. Thank you Thank You.

My predictions are Rich Franklin who has been the most dominant fighter in his weightclass. Anderson Silva although a tough and accurate fighter just doesn't have the experience that Franklin has. I think it will be Franklin's toughest fight, but he'll win.

Sean Sherk (29-2-1) vs. Kenny Florian (7-2)
Florian by submission after Sherk tosses him around a bit

Spencer Fisher (19-2) vs. Dan Lauzon (4-0)
Fisher

Keith Jardine (11-3-1) vs. Mike Nickels (4-1)
I would like to see Jardine win, but I don't know...

Don't really know much about the other people.

I'd give the edge to Sherk for the Lightweight title. Kenny Florian is an incredibly improved fighter. I read he trained in Thailand and Brazil to improve his game. But Sherk will be too much speed for KenFlo(what a stupid name) unless there is a very stupid submission very early in the fight.

I think Mike Nickels has a chance against Keith Jardine, as an upset.

Clay Guida is a total maniac, and will win. He's relentless, Diego-esque fighter that I've seen go 5 rounds twice, without slowing down.

I think RIch Franklin will pull it out, but there will be lots of blood tonight as both fighters are going to get very hurt. Anderson Silva is an awesome fighter.

I saw an interview with Rich Franklin he seemed confident but concerned. that's good. Silva is his biggest challenge yet i think. I'm a big Franklin fan, he's good for the sport well educated and a good sportsman, i hate to see antics like what Tito Ortiz displayed when he beat a aged warrior in Ken shamrock he should have been grateful to even be given the chance to fight him again. That's what the sport is based on respect/sportsmanship, i don't want to see wwf like antics. Oh yeah the subject, ill take Franklin if he keeps away from the ground game. it will be huge if he wins who would be next???? GO RICH!!!!!!!!!

I think Franklin will keep his belt by taking Silva to the ground and punishing him. Silva is fast and a good stiker, but doesn't have the ability to knock out the champ. As for the other fights - Sherk in two (KO); Hironaka in 1 (Sub); Kongo in 1 (KO); Fisher in 2 (KO); Nickels (Decision); Okami (Decision); Guida in 3 (KO) and Pellegrino (Sub).

I'm disappointed that UFC is not going to do the Fantasy Challenge with this one. Here's my predictions:
Rich (but it will be tough)
The Muscle Shark is going to hurt Kenny bad and will win by submission (I've thought he was great ever since his Pride debut.
Cheick (the next upcoming star) by KO
Fisher by submission
Jardine by TKO
Okima by Kalib quiting because his ribs hurt. j/k submission
James by Armbar submission
Kurt by rear naked choke

I think that Franklin will get the W, but will have a solid fight on his hands. Florian takes the win, but watch out if BJ Penn drops weight and comes back as a light weight, again.
