i have 2 bad things on my credit will this matter? they are not serious either

I think everyone who meets College/income criteria qualifies. I don't think credit has anything to do with it. Go to the following website and you will find all that you need to know. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

There are 2 types of Fed Stafford loans, Subsidized and unsubsidized, you must qualify by income for the subsidized (where the govt pays interest while you're in school) but anyone can qualify for an unsubsidized one ( where the interest accrues while you're inschool) I got one and I have had a bankruptcy a few years ago

Are you the student or the parent? If you are the student it might if you are the parent it definitely will. Now the question is why are you still applying for loans? School started weeks ago, and any money not paid would have a mountain of penalties accumulated.

u r right...credit does not seem to matter. they seem to care more about ur exact financial needs to determine the amount.
