Unfortunately, putting on weight is part of being pregnant. You don't have to eat for 2 but you should be eating roughly 500 calories more a day than you usually do. Gentle exercise is also advisable. Your midwife will be able to help you by supplying information about how to deal with your pregnancy and all of the issues that you may be going through.

Those are the things that you have to deal with when you decide to have a baby. I think you are being really shallow. Worry about your weight after the baby is born. Just make sure that you are eating right and exercising while you pregnant. The healthier you are, the healthier the baby will be, and the easier it will be for you to lose the weight after you have the baby! Good Luck!

You should enjoy it. That is just part of it. Just breastfeed when baby is born, it is healthier, free and helps you drop your weight faster. Don't try to diet or anything like that, you will only be hurting/depriving your baby and therefore yourself. I have a 6 month old little boy and I weight less now than I did before I even got pregnant. Good luck, you will be fine.

You aren't getting fat... You are having a baby.
I was 21 when my 1st was born and I did 300 sit-ups a night after she was born. I looked like I did pre-pregnancy when she was 3 months old.
You are young and will spring back into shape after baby is born. Have a positive outlook, you are growing a human life.
Just eat healthy and don't binge and you will be just fine.
May God Bless both you and your baby!

That's actually is really normal for a skinny girl. When my sister in law was pregnant she felt the same way. Trust me it's completely normal. Just make shore don't rush around to much or your back will hurt even worse than it has to.

your weight gain is normal. It is also normal to feel like you're turning into a fat cow. You WILL gain more weight there's no getting around it without hurting your baby. and you will lose the weight after the baby is born. Stop being selfish about it and realise that it is necessary to gain weight in order for your child to be healthy!!
