Try a bare-bones linux distro such as Damn Small Linux which does not require much resources.

I suggest to you to install a older linux.If you do install a linux operative sistem from 2002,to now, I don't think it will work.You have a very low memory and a slow processor, so if it does install you would have to uninstall cause it requires a memory of 128 Mb RAM.

32mbr lol buy up more ram go to 512mbr
