my boyfriend is quite possesive.... he wont let me go out drinkin wif friends and he dusnt like going out - i kno u'll all probably say "DUMP HIM" but its serious relationship and i dont really want to leave him. We have somethng really special but i jus dont have any space ..... wot would u do if you were me?

The fact that he doesnt 'allow; you to go out is wrong. If its something you want to do occasionally, there should be no problems. You need to tell him that he cannot control you this way and how it makes you feel. He needs to have trust in you. He HAS to change this or the relationship isnt gonna last much longer. Tell him that as well.

If he controls you and doesn't allow you any freedom then you really don't have something special and it's not a serious relationship. Really, if you think you need this type of relationship perhaps you should dump him and go see a therapist to work on your self esteem...

I'm in a relationship like this...It cuts both ways...If that's the way he wants it then he has to be prepared to play by his own rules.
I do work though so we get our space that way.
We have been together for 10 years and have everything we need in each other. IT can work. It just doesn't suit everybody

If you can sit down and tell him how you feel a relationship is give and take just because he doesn't like going out doesn't mean you should miss out if he is still funny with you after that then dump him.

Drinking and getting drunk, i quite understand that
Doing your own thing, gotta be done sometimes to keep the relationship alive and healthy its good to both do different things ocasionally, stimulates the brain and brings new things to the partnership.
Maybe you need to explain to him that you are very committed to him and say you want to be the best you can be for yourself and for him. In your view that means having some of your own space to pursue your own interests.

well you could take him along with you when you go out with mates... sounds like he could possibly be a little insecure and doesn't want to lose you to any other guy so it's up to you to show me that there is nothing to worry about and that he can rest assured that he is the guy you want to be with. so yeh, take him out when you go out with your mates to show him it's all cool. if he doesn't like going out then try doing stuff indoors. you could even get some of your mates and/or his mates round and all have a laugh indoors ...

well maybe he dislike you getting drunk. my fiance has never tasted alchohol in his life. and as long as he is with me , i know he wont. some things you have to sacrifice in a relationship.
at the same time you need your own space at times but dont do things you know are going to piss him off..there are plenty of fun things to do that im sure he wouldnt get mad at

i bet he goes out with his mates you then should go out with your mates if you aren't happy theres only one thing you can possible do dump him if i was you i would just go out wait until hes gone with his Friends and you go out wot can he say lol
