Check the packaging that came with the CD (I mean, it is a legal copy, right?). There should be a key code on it.

The key should be listed on the CD case on the back side if you bought it from the store or if it came with your computer. Hopefully the key that guy just gave you works. If it doesn't good luck. You could just open the folder where the .exe file is located and look around for a "read-me" file. Open the read me file(s) and look for the product code key there....tee hee hee..

Entering a key proves that u have ligitamately bought yur software. Check on the cd, packaging somewhere for the serial. If u have a burnt copy, whereever u got it from, ask for the key or u can go to www.theserials.com. Laterz.

its a product key you have to click on the cyberlink power weblink and then your end up on the product key website where you can buy a license key for your product

It's an anti-counterfeit measure. if you bought it legit, the CD-key will be on the packaging.
