I talk about comic books, video games, movies, sex, and work. I wouldn't take my advice. I am a nerd.

There are several ways to start/continue a conversation with guys (or anyone, really). One simple way is to talk about something related to what you're doing. For instance, if you're at a party, you could ask what he thinks about the music, food, or the party itself. If you're in a school hallway you could start talking about pretty much anything with the school.
The best ways to start a conversation are to talk about what you know: your interests, hobbies, opinions, and things you have in common. If you're talking to someone on the football team, you already know one of his hobbies, so you could talk about that.
A slightly more bold way to start a really interesting conversation is to ask a "what if" question. You can buy books with some of these (try your local Barnes&Noble) or just say whatever pops into your head. For instance, the book Zobmondo asks "would you rather" questions such as: "Would you rather have to run 2 miles to get somewhere on time and arrive all sweaty, etc. or would you rather walk the 2 miles and arrive there late but looking good?" (That's not an exact quote, but that's basically what it says). This, however, does not work in all situations or with all people; some people find it odd or disturbing.
Overall, be yourself. Talk about yourself, but don't dominate the conversation. Try to relate to the guy as a person.

just be yourself. us guys are usually more interested in you ladies anyway. if you really want to know what guys talk about we talk about nothing at all. ask a bunch of guys that have been hanging out for a few hours and you'll see. we talk sports, sex, and random as hell facts. we won't even remember what the heck we were talking about anyway.

*Hi there.Just try talking about things in general.Ask him about school,what kind of movies he likes, what kind of music,if he enjoys sports or what kind of video games he likes.The more find out about him and if you're lucky to have things in common with him then you won't have any problem talking with guys.Depending on your age,I would stay away from asking sexual questions as you might give him the wrong idea about you.Good luck and have fun(but not too much fun-lol)Well girl,I hope this helps.Take care.*

well, depends on how old you are and what interest you....
....if you find a friend to talk to...male or female...you should be able to talk about anything you want.
